Bloom Accounting is dedicated to help small businesses and individuals navigate their financial journey with confidence and clarity. Although established recently, the founders bring a decade of experience each within the accounting industry. They needed to build their brand from the ground up and I was tasked with developing their full brand identity.
Too often, accounting websites and their social accounts overwhelm users with jargon and complicated visuals. Drawing inspiration from the name Bloom, I wanted to create an approachable and down-to-earth yet professional identity to reflect what the company stands for: clear, reliable and personalised financial guidance.
Playing with the word Bloom and its associations, I subtly incorporated the imagery of leaves and a vine-like curve – a coin forming a growing plant into the letter B – to evoke a sense of growth, delicacy, and flourishing – and perfectly complementing their tagline: Planting the seeds for financial success.
The client sought brand visuals that were approachable, concise, and professional. Green was the natural choice for the main brand colour, but I opted for a darker teal to soften the tone – making it easier on the eyes while maintaining a more polished look. We added a brighter green for accents and a lighter grey to complement the palette.
